Powell is Head of Insurance Services at Western Asset and a 21-year veteran of the asset management industry. He was a 4-year scholar athlete at UCI, graduating in 1990. Powell then went on to a prolific rowing career for another 10 years. He recently earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
