This UC-only regatta will feature crews from UC Davis\, UC Irvine\, UC Los Angeles\, UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara. The Men’s and Women’s Varsity 8+ events will be competing in The Anfield Capital Cup and The Reinhold Family Cup\, respectively. It was named after the Monster from the Blue Lagoon movie\, and was initially a one day regatta. HOTL has now grown to a two day regatta\, hosting junior\, collegiate\, open\, and master teams. This is a gently curving course through the Foster City Lagoon\, which is carefully buoyed every year.
